Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians Peshawbestown, MI

Overview

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians is seeking proposals from qualified video production companies or freelancers to produce a 15-20 minute video. The video will showcase the organization's departments for presentation to the community.

The video should:

• Engage viewers, inform about our mission and departmental functions
• Be visually compelling and professionally edited
• Include onsite visits and interviews with department staff

Scope of Work

The selected vendor will be responsible for:

• Concept development (in collaboration with our team)
• Filming (on-site or at agreed locations)
• Editing (including color correction, sound mixing, and graphics)
• Delivering a final version suitable for presentation and website
• One round of revisions

Deliverables

• Final edited video: 15-20 minutes in HD (MP4 format)
• Optionally, short clips (30-60 seconds

Budget

• Please provide an estimated total project cost, including:
• Pre-production, production, and post-production costs
• Equipment or travel costs (if applicable)
• Any optional add-ons (e.g. drone footage or captions)

Proposal Requirements

• Applicants should submit the following materials:
• Company/individual background and relevant experience
• Examples or links to previous video work/samples
• Project approach and estimated timeline
• Detailed cost breakdown
• Contact information for the project lead

• Deadline for Proposal Submission: October 13, 2025

• Questions/Clarifications: All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to Denise Wilson at wilson2@gtb-nsn.gov.

Selection Criteria

• Proposals will be evaluated based on:
• Quality of past work
• Understanding of project goals
• Cost effectiveness
• Creativity and technical approach
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with Native American Tribal Organizations preferred but not required

Terms and Conditions

• The Grand Traverse Band reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal at its sole discretion
• All proposals submitted become the property of the Grand Traverse Band and will not be returned.
• The Grand Traverse Band will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondent in preparing or submitting a proposal.
