1.1 Summary

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians (GTB, Grand Traverse Band) is requesting proposals from those interested in providing Communication and Print needs for our Communications Department on an as needed basis, 2-3 days a week for approximately (3) three months.

1.2 Background

The GTB service area for the delivery of federal and Tribal services encompasses six counties that include Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, and Manistee. There are 4192 Grand Traverse band tribal members, of which 1966 members and their dependents reside on the reservation lands or within the Service Area.

1.3 Project Site

The Communications Department is located at 2300 N Stallman Road, Peshawbestown, MI., (Lower Level of the Medicine Lodge).

1.4 Scope of Services

  1. Provide general administrative and operational support to the Communications Department.
  2. Assist with coordination and distribution of internal and external communications materials.
  3. Support basic print, photo, video, and digital content activities used by GTB government

  • High School diploma or
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in computer skills in various software
  • 1-2 year's experience in a print shop or a similar

2. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

2.1 General Bid Form

Each vendor must submit a cover letter, resume with references, and bid (hourly rate and time commitment). The proposal should be printed on 8½ x 11-inch paper and include an expected hourly rate. An attached resume shall include qualifications and past experiences.

2.2 Evaluation Procedure

Proposals will be evaluated by GTB Communications staff based upon the qualifications, past experiences, and cost. In addition, an interview may follow for clarification, experience, and expectations.
