RFP - Snow Removal and Lawn Maintenance 2024

Summary

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians (GTB, Grand Traverse Band) is requesting proposals from GTB Member-owned DBAs, Sole-source, LLC. etc for contractual work to provide lawn maintenance and snow removal for Tribal properties in Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, and Leelanau Counties. It is preferred that there would be several selections of GTB members that reside in each of the counties identified.

The GTB service area for the delivery of federal and Tribal services encompass six counties that include Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, and Manistee. There are 4192 Grand Traverse band tribal members, of which 1966 members and their dependents reside on the reservation lands or within the Service Area.

-Benzie neighborhood in the Village of Benzonia off of Hoadley road
-Charlevoix neighborhood in East Jordan off of Ranney road
-Peshawbestown:
-- Gidaakiikaa neighborhood off of N. Peshawbestown road & also off Putnam road
-- E. Kitigan & N. Ninatigo roads neighborhood off of Roubal road
-- Nish-Nah-Bah road neighborhood off of McKeese road
Scope of Services

A. Lawn maintenance for sidewalks and common areas by site;
B. Snow removal for sidewalks

Qualifications

A. Liability insurance is required.
