REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians ("Grand Traverse Band" or "GTB") is requesting Proposals from qualified contractors interested in contracting with the GTB to provide cleaning and janitorial services at the Grand Traverse Band – Medicine Lodge.
Note: The length of the contract will go for a 10-month period from January 1, 2025, through September 30, 2025.

located at: 2300 Stallman Rd.
Peshawbestown, Michigan 49682
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:
- Requirements – The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and equipment used to complete the requested
- Special Requirements – Contractor shall use caution to:
- Exercise care to prevent damage to all Tribal

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS
- Interested contractors must, at a minimum, provide the following information:
- Approach: Describe the extent to how you will be performing the required
- Schedule: Provide an estimated schedule to complete the scope of work described above outside the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. Monday through Friday.
- Price: It is the Grand Traverse Band's intent to select a contractor for the site that will, in the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians sole determination, provide the best proposal at the least
- Proposal cost to be broken down by weekly, monthly and annual proposal
- Any extra work to be proposed separately with an estimate of costs and timeframe to perform
- Price must include any/all fees related to the project

SCOPE OF WORK:
- The awarded company will be required to provide and/or furnish the required equipment, transportation, machinery, tools, incidentals, labor, and supervisory necessary to perform complete janitorial services for the designated
- All cleaning supplies are to be provided by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. Unsatisfactory or substandard products will not be

ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
- Additional janitorial services such as:
- Carpet cleaning
- Strip and wax Vinyl Composition Tiles (VCT)

SELECTION OVERVIEW AND CRITERIA:

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
- The selected company must procure, maintain, and furnish proof of:
- workers' compensation insurance in conformance with the Michigan Disability Compensation Act and any other applicable workers' compensation
- The selected will have $1,000,000.00 General Liability, $2,000,000.00 General Aggregate Insurance and $1,000,000.00 Workmen's Comp
- Claims for damages because of bodily injury including personal injury, sickness or disease, or death of any and all employees or of any person other than such employees.
