RFP - MSW Behavioral Health Policy Writer

Summary

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians (GTB, Grand Traverse Band) is requesting proposals from MSW and/or Experienced Tribal Behavioral Health Policy Writer with a Bachelor's Degree-Contractual Providers interested in providing as needed Behavioral Health policy and procedure development services, hiring qualified Behavioral Health staff, and/or agencies for our Community. This contract will continue with 90-day notice of RFP process commencing for due diligence.

The GTB service area for the delivery of federal and Tribal services encompass six counties that include Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, and Manistee. There are 4192 Grand Traverse band tribal members, of which 1966 members and their dependents reside on the reservation lands or within the Service Area.

The GTB Family Health Clinic is located at 2300 N Stallman Road, Suite A in Peshawbestown, MI., Medicine Lodge. Remote Work allowed.

Scope of Services

A. Review and update Behavioral Health policies and procedures;
B. Create and develop SOPs for the Behavioral Health sub-department;
C. Assist with the hiring, staffing, onboarding, of qualified therapists, counselors, and/or agencies to meet the Behavioral Health needs of the Community;
D. The selected individual will not be paid for GTB closure days or Holidays, however the day of service can be adjusted for these purposes.
E. Work with Behavioral staff, Department Manager, and Tribal Manager to meet the scope of services.

Qualifications

A. Must be a Licensed MSW in Michigan and/or provide combined evidence of experience as a Tribal Behavioral Health Policy Writer with a Bachelor's Degree
B. Liability insurance is required.
